Crash Points

Crash Points:  Crash point is the converging point that elements, shapes, angles, and lines lead to.  This image is composed so that all lines draw your eye to the same point.  Furthermore, that same point also falls on the upper left intersection of the rule of thirds.  In this example it can also be referred to as the termination point. It gives a feeling of balance and harmony and keeps the image from being boring.
